Filing Transcript Request

You must request transcripts of all hearings/proceedings in the lower court that are necessary for the appellate court to review. If there were no hearings, you need to file a certificate letting the appellate court know that.

You have to file a request for transcripts or a statement that no transcripts are needed within 14 days from the date your appeal was docketed in the appellate court. If your case is referred for a settlement conference, this won't be needed until after the conference.

This guided interview will help you generate a request for a transcript or a statement that no transcript is needed.
